GDGIS is the first school in the country to partner with SAMSUNG where technology is concerned. It is the first model school, for Samsung and any new technology introduced by Samsung in the field of education will be installed at GDGIS first.
The school promotes Tab based education right from Class I as we think that it is important for students to keep up with the current trends. A Samsung Tab is provided to each student at the time of admission.
The entire campus is equipped with Wi-Fi but at the same time misuse of technology is fully governed. The campus is under an electronic surveillance system and is equipped with security cameras.
Samsung screens are installed in each classroom to aid teaching. They provide ways to show students everything which can be presented on a computer's desktop helping them to learn through audio visuals. They also allow teachers to record their instructions and post the material for review by students at a later time. This is a very effective instructional strategy for students who are absent from school or are slow learners. It is also useful for reviewing previously taught work during examinations.
Instead of the traditional notice boards GDGIS has installed Samsung digital boards in the school corridors.
We have a well equipped Computer laboratory with the latest operating systems dedicated computer teachers to teach the children computer skills from a young age.
We have a fully integrated ERP system which helps students to have easy access to school information and at the same time helps the teachers to focus on teaching rather than administrative processes. Parents can easily access the child's records sitting at home helping them to monitor the child's development and progress through the ERP system.
